One of North America's most beautiful and historic cities, Halifax offers numerous must-see Halifax attractions. Rich in Maritime history, the city offers historic sites such as the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, Pier 21 Halifax - Canada's Immigration Museum, Maritime Museum of the Atlantic and Historic Properties, a collection of restored 19th century buildings featuring boutiques and unique local dining options. All are just a few minutes walk from The Westin or a quick ride in our complimentary shuttle, which operates Monday to Friday from 8am - 12 noon and 4pm - 8pm at the top of every hour by advance booking only.

Shopping in Halifax is another experience not to be missed. Step out along Spring Garden Road or walk along the waterfront. Halifax pubs are alive with live music almost every night of the week, from fiddlers to local Celtic rock. For the more adventurous, try whale watching, sea kayaking or a sightseeing journey to the beautiful South Shore and famous Peggy's Cove.
